6oz la Puy Lentils |
Wash the lentils and soak overnight in the water. Put them in a pan with the water in which they were soaked, adding the garlic, clove and parsley, stock cubes, seasoning and bacon, cover and allow to simmer for about one hour, until both lentils and bacon are cooked. Add the potatoes and cook for a further 20 mins, or until just soft. Remove clove, if you can find it, before serving |
