Autumn in Andalucia

We got up at 3.20 and caught the 4.19 train to Gatwick.   Breakfast at Gatwick was free thanks to the manager of Pret;  we must have been looking old...   The flight took off late but caught up and was 5mins early.   We met up with Neil and Bill and Teresa arrived with the transport.   We drove to a picnic spot and had an excellent lunch with langoustine, asparagus, coleslaw, ham cheese and rye bread washed down with gazpacho, orange juice and wine.

We saw blues, browns, a swallowtail and a striped grayling, all too fast to be photographed.   Bill and Neil saw some dragonflies.

We settled in to our accommodation with some crickets and had supper alfresco at the motel (Cortyo de los Monteros, Benalup, Cadiz.)   The locals are into Bullfighting there was memorabilia about.   Our accommodation is named after matadors.
