CRETE Friday 18.4.2008 Hania and Therisso Gorge |
We visited Hania, the old Venetian town, museums, markets and mosque in the morning and had lunch at a taverna on the sea front.

After an early lunch we went to Therisso Gorge. The light levels were sometimes quite low. |

We found one rather tatty peony on a steep shady hill side: everyone scrambled up and was very glad to see it. However we were even more delighted to find a superior clump on Sunday. |
