I felt sick, so could not risk going on the trip to Kaunos, but felt better by 10.30 and walked around the village taking pictures and meeting some dogs and cats.

Interesting lunch of stuffed baked aubergine with fresh yoghurt and rice.    In the afternoon we went to a Liquidamber forest at Kavakarasi;  the smell from the trunks was heady.   We could not open the gate and were amused to have the key produced from a common hiding place...

We stopped in a pine forest with a cemetery on the way back to the hotel and found more orchids and a Barbary nut.   (Pictures above)
