We walked through a nature reserve by the War
Cemetery, some of the group saw a mole cricket, but those in the van missed out.
There were yellow wagtails in quantity (60) and some new plants.

We were dropped off in Charnia to have lunch and look around.

We looked around Charnia took some back street photos
and had spinach pies for lunch. H had a very dark chocolate ice
cream which was very filling indeed right up until dinner time.

We went on to the Agia reservoir saw some birds
including geese, Garganey ducks and a Little Stint. (A tiny little
wader).

Lastly we went to the impressive Therisso Gorge walking
a little way up the road. Symphytum creticum and Petromarula pinnata
were flowering on the rocks.

We saw some horned poppies from the bus on the return
